39 weeks and 0 effacement, 0 dialation!

Had my 39 week appt last night and baby is still comfortable in there - even though the pressure and soreness is sometimes unbareable. I thought i would be further along - so i was surprised i wasn't.

Doctor said i could go at any time - and this could all change in a matter of a day.

THe waiting is killing me!!

I'm sorry. Hang in there. I am just a few days behind you and in a very similar situation. But don't worry too much, it will only be a short time longer!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Thanks ladies!
Im going to see my doctor again on Wednesday to see if any progression. He would then like to see me twice a week after - i think he wants to give it a few days after my due date to see if anything happens - my only worry is this baby is going to get too big - they already told me it was looking like he/she was 8 or so lbs....
I see so many of us in the same boat (seems like the first babies are always alittle more tough) - lots of labor vibes and well wishes to us allChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
