39 wks and LOTS of discharge
Anyone else? I'm going through pantyliners like they're water. For the past week I've had a steady increase in mostly clear liquidy - not mucousy discharge. I've heard this means you're getting close. But it doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell me that, I'm 39 wks! I want to know how close I am!

Not during the day, but at night I am a lot wetter  clear, liquid like yours.

I've got it too. I just keep telling my doctor I feel "soggy" and she keeps telling me "it's normal". I just want it to finally be my water breaking!

thanks! i just read that it's supposed to get thicker too, but mine is definitley watery.

tmi, i know, but i have practically a constant flow of CM. i wear full-blown maxi pads! also, the color/consistency has gone from white/liquidy to yellow/thick. a few weeks ago there were also pieces of mucous plug , but now that's gone and it's just CM. doc told me it was normal pre-labor mucous...

at almost 37 weeks i ended up in L&D thinking i was in labor (ummm... not so much, but that's another story, lol). that night i had greenish-yellow, snotty looking CM which marked the beginning of losing the mucous plug. in the weeks since then the quality of the mucous changed to yellow/thick.
on another note, it's so funny that you make the comparison between this phase and ttc - i was just telling DH the same thing earlier today! when i was ttc i had so much anticipation and thought that every month was "it". i looked up every single symptom and read into absolutely every sensation i felt... until i reached the point of just accepting whatever came - and that was the month that i was actually pregnant! i have done the same thing with pre-labor signs/symptoms. i've invested so much time, energy, and anxiety so far into trying to figure out what's going on... but now i am done, i figure it will come eventually... but the waiting is so hard...
