3rd IUI failed
So, I got AF Sunday. Didn't even make it to my beta date. This was our 3rd IUI, and the last one covered by insurance.
Waiting to hear back from doctor, but I have no idea what we'll do now (he's going to push for IVF). We could try another IUI, but I feel like the chances of it working are so slim (since DH has morphology issues) that it wouldn't really make sense to do more. I don't ovulate on my own, so trying on our own would not work either. So all we're really left with is IVF which I am just not ready for. There are too many decisions to be made that we're not ready to face.
DH said he'll do whatever I want but I don't know what that is. Our OOP for an IUI would just be the procedure itself and co-pays, so it'll probably run us @ $500 for a cycle. Should we give it another go? UGH!

First, I'm so, so sorry. I know how you feel...
If it was my choice, and I could afford it/insurance would cover it, I would do IVF, especially with the factors you have against you.

Honestly, I would go straight for IVF. Your chances will be much higher that way.

I'm so sorry it didn't work..I had the same issues... didn't ovulate on my own and DH's morphology was 0-1%. My RE told us IUI's were a waste of our time and money.
IVF is a big step, so take your time to think about it.

I'm so sorry this cycle failed.
If I were in your situation I would move on to IVF.
I am in the 2WW for my 3rd and last IUI cycle that will be covered by insurance. I have a different history, but if this fails, we are going to take the Summer to prepare to move to IVF.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

I'm so sorry this cycle did not work for you guys. Def. wait and see what your doctor says about your chances with IUI vs. IVF. I totaly understand the whole not ready for IVF thing, so even if that seems like the next step, take the time you need to get yourself ready for it. It is a big deal and has a lot of different emotions attached to it. Keep us posted on what the RE says and what you decide.

If you need to take a month or more off to just rest and get ready, then do that... but I'd definitely do IVF with ICSI as my next step.

I'm so sorry I totally understand not being ready for IVF yet, its a big next step. But it sounds like you have a plan and just take your time to get ready emotionally and physically.
