3rd Tri Girls... still hanging in there?

I remember early on in my pregnancy people kept saying..

There will come a point where you will just want to have the kid already even birth isn't scary anymore


I'm still not at that point... are you?

I'm still afraid of birth and I really don't want to have to think of it and frankly if it means Im preggo forever then fine!

im still really nervous, esp after taking the prepare for childbirth class on saturday. with only 4 weeks left, i am getting scared..But i do feel like im ready for the pregnancy to be over. My feet and hands have been swelling a lot and sleeping is sooo uncomfortable. I just wish i knew what the exact day was cause i want to be prepared

I am!!!

I'm done with pregnancy- I think its about time I meet this little guy.

I'm still afraid of labor- dont get me wrong, but I think the anticipation is really the wost part. Its all a waiting game right now.

Part of me really wants to have this baby already and part of me doesn't and is scared.

Why I AM at that point:
~My fingers are swollen beyond belief
~My feet were swollen but today look really good!
~I am soooooo sick of having to go to the bathroom every second and being umcomfortable walking if I can't go
~He is hitting my sciatic nerve and it makes me jump (or my knees buckle) everytime it happens.
~It is very uncomfortable to get on the floor and play with my almost 3 year old and bending over pick something up is almost impossible

Why I am NOT at that point:
~VERY scared of having a newborn AND a toddler .....not sure how he will react, he does love babies but I already see him regressing and being babyish b/c he knows the time is coming
~I'm afraid to give birth again and just it's as fast as the first one!!
~This is likely my last pregnancy and I actually really like being pregnant and will miss not being pregnant again

If I don't go into labor by Friday my Dr is putting me in the hospital and getting things going being I was at 3cm and "cervix ready" as of last week so I don't have much time to think about it .

I'm very scared of labor, It literally keeps me up at night, and is completely clouding my excitment to meet the baby. I keep trying to talk myself out of it, but I sometimes can't . I feel like I am abnormally fearful of this. I've never been in the hospital, the sight of blood makes me sick / dizzy, and most of all I do not handle pain well at all, I have a very low pain threshold

Still hanging in....


I am having the normal aches/pains but I am getting by. I am terrifed of labor. Most of all, I am most worried about the baby. That is my greatest pain. I worry all day about how things will turn out.

I am hanging in there BUT I am NOT comfortable anymore!! My stupid ankles look like tree trunks and my poor toes look like little sausages. (Thank god my hands and fingers are normal still!!!!) My lower back is aching today, my pelvis and abs are just wiped out and give me such discomfort every time I stand up. It's just getting annoying now. I've had a wonderful pregnancy (except for the GD) but I am VERY, VERY ready to evict this little one and meet him/her. I can't wait to have my old self back.............ya know, the one where bending over isn't a chore, you don't spend your life in the bathroom, you have no aches and pains!! I miss that me!!!! Can't wait to see her again!!!

i am SO DONE. i want this baby out already. i loved being pregnant but it's time for to come out so i can meet him and see what he looks like!!

the only thing i am not looking forward to is my deep suspicion that i will get more than just the "baby blues"

Even though I am completely done being pregnant, I'm still petrified to give birth.

Nope, I am done and done...wishing this guy would just get on with the labor and c'mon out.

I have almost 11 weeks to go and although I am not at that point yet, I feel I will be there shortly. I am at the point where I am so uncomfortable at night and my ribs are killing me.

I am so done. Last night I layed down in bed at 9:30, fell asleep at around 10 because it took me 30 min just to get into a comfortable position. Woke up at 12:30 to do a bathroom break, didnt fall back alseep until 2, then was up at 4, 5 and finally for the day 7.

I am exhausted. Walking from the car to the house I need to take a break. Heck after I shower I need to lay down for 15 minutes because I am beat.

I can not bend down at all. Some days I am really cranky and crabby and some days I feel ok.

I love his little kicks and jabs and I am sure going to miss those. It's like it's our own little communication between and I. But I am ready for him to be here. I am ready to be somewhat back to normal

I am sooo ready. I keep thinking any little pain or twitch could be it, but I think it is just wishful thinking. My pelvis hurts everytime I get up, and I can't wait to stop waddling!! I am petrified of the labor portion, but can't wait to finally hold her!!
