3rd Tri ladies-how big is your hospital bag
Now I am not normally a huge packer, however, the suitcase I have is big. DH thinks the nurses are going to think 'oh, she's one of THOSE ladies who brings a huge bag to the hospital.'
The bag has our video camera, a dvd player, a pillow in it, and some clothes etc.
How big is your bag-am I the only one bringing a suitcase?

I'm going to answer but I haven't started packing yet so we'll see what I end up with! But my plan is to use a very large duffle bag. I was afraid a suitcase would take up too much room. I'm trying to find a picture of it to give you an idea of scale but it's pretty huge.

ok, considering I have a pillow in mine, it is not like I have it packed to the brim with stuff. I feel a little better.

i brought a medium/large sized suitcase. i also had a pillow, camcorder in a case, pocketbook and DH had a backpack.
believe me the nurses won't notice or care.
bring whatever bag you need to fit everything. don't forget stuff like your hairdryer takes up a lot of space. you will be in the hospital for at least 2 days, so have everything you might need.
you'll go right in the room and DH will put your stuff in the corner where it will stay until you give birth. if you need stuff from it, it'll be there and DH won't have to go home and get it.

I have a small suitcase, and my camcorder, camera and laptop are in seperate bags. I didn't pack my pillow yet or my hairdryer/ brush because I use it everyday.

We packed a large duffle bag. I used less than half of what I packed.

I am packing a small bag. There really is not too much to pack, everyone I have spoken to has overpacked and did not use half of what they packed. It's only 2 days so I am not worried.

I am probably going to pack a medium sized bag. Some things won't be able to go in there until that day, like my glasses, hair dryer, etc.

a duffle bag.... it's almost full, so we'll have to carry the pillows and the boppy seperately
it has my clothes and pjs, scone's coming home outfit, travel-sized toiletries, pads, BF supplies, flip flops,camcorder and camera, and most importantly, the cord blood collection kit and the card stating that I'm fully immunized and negative for all diseases....

A medium sized duffle bag - but it doesnt have my pillow in it. I'd definitely need a bigger bag for my pillow.
