3rd trimester ladies: What do you do for a backache?
Do you use a heating pad, or take tylenol or something else? I am dying over here, it is the worst backache ever, and no position that I sit or lay in is making it any better. I don't think I can take another 8 weeks of this.

Aside from cry?  I usually will just try the heating pad. I've been lucky though and haven't had terrible back pain so far. Just a pinch every now and again but nothing incapacitating. Feel better.

I, right now, have no back problems!
(I did in the 2nd trimester, but then worked out what the problem was...)
for me, it was all about proper support while sleeping. I've been sleeping with 5 down pillows of varying consistencies. a super fluffy one for my head, one supporting my upper arm, 2 supporting my upper leg (so both arm and leg are parallel to the mattress) and one under Scone (so my belly doesn't tug on my spine while I sleep)
So, my advice is to adjust your sleeping arrangement so your back is not being tugged by a leg, arm, or the belly... it took several weeks, but I figured it out and feel much better now

I haven't taken anything for it. I ask dh for a little back rub everyonce in a while.

Roll from side to side at night with my 3-pillow-system and sometimes take tylenol when I just can't take it.

I couldnt do anything and what made it worse was chasing after DS. When i laid down at night it would be better in the morning.
