4/5 month old-how many naps throughout the day?

My DD is NOT a good napper, curious what norm should be at her age.

Abby naps 2-3x per day--maybe 45min-1hr 15 min.

ETA my other DD took like 1 nap at that time

dd is 6 months but she USUALLY takes 2 naps...about an hour each...though sometimes she will take a 3 hour nap....you just never know

Right after the first bottle he usually goes down for a 1-2 hour nap.

Then mid-day he does another 1-2 hour one.

He used to do a late afternoon one, but lately he's been skipping that altogether.

Three naps.

This is their schedule...
(We start to soothe... ie. go back into rocker and reead a book, listen to lullabye's and then read another book, same book before every nap, as the trigger that they are going in for a nap... about 20-30 minutes before their nap time)

6 am wake, breakfast

7:30 nap

8:30 bottle

10:30 nap (long nap 1 1/2- 2 hours)

12:00-12:30 bottle

2:30-3:00 nap (about 45 minutes)

4:00 dinner/bottle

4:45 baths

5:15 bottle

6:00 bed

Three naps a day for about 3-4 hours of the day.

at that age, I believe DD was taking 2 naps a day for about 2 hrs and sometimes a 3rd cat nap around 5ish.

My DD napped GREAT until 4 months. At 4 months she took two naps a day, both only 1/2 hour each tops, one around 10 and the other around 2

I'd occasionally get a 3rd cat nap around 5

She just started napping a little more at 8 months old. Now I get anywhere between 1/2 hour - 1 1/2 in the morning and usually an hour - 1 1/2 in the afternoon. Still not great, but better.

Ds is 5 months. He always takes a morning nap for 1-2 hours. Then at daycare, he may take 2 1 hour naps throughout the day and a small catnap when I pick him up and the car ride home at about 5:30. On weekends, besides his regular morning nap, I can get him to take 2 solid 1-3 hour naps and then he won't catnap. So it's 3 naps, varying in length depending upon where he is.

Madison takes about 3 naps during the day but has just started only taking 20 mintue naps a couple of times a day, she really does not have a schedule, but eats breakfast at 8 or 9 ish, then naps around 1030 till 11:15, lunch at 1 and another nap at like 2 ish, then dinner around 5 and a cat nap around 6ish for 20 mintues and bed at 730 or 8...........

three naps... two for 30-45 minutes and one for 1 1/2 hours.

Colton is 4 months and he has been catnapping for 15-20 minutes every 4 or 5 hours.... i wish hed go back to the 1 -2 hr naps!!!

DS takes 3-4 catnaps a day.

Usually one from 10:30-11am, then one from 1pm-2ish, then usually one somewhere between 4pm-6pm for about 30 minutes to 45 minutes.

Sometimes he will take a really long, like 2-3 hour nap and it will shock the crap out of me.

Usually around 3 naps ranging 45 min - 1.5 hrs. Sometimes he'll have one long nap for 2-3 hours, then he'll nap only twice.

3 naps - approximately an hour each. This is a pretty recent development. Until she was 4 months she would only nap for 30 minutes at a time.

My DD is not a good napper. She takes a nap at 10:00am for 30-45 minutes, another at 1:00pm for 30 minutes, and then another around 5:30pm for sometimes almost 1 hour. The longest nap she has ever taken was just recently where she slept for 1 1/2 hours but this only happened one time.
