4 month PED visit - interesting thing about shots
Our little peanut had her 4 month visit and weighs in at:
13.8 (25th percentile) and 24" (50th). Maybe she'll be long and lean like her daddy!
Anyway - the nurse who generally gives the shots was out so the doctor did it - and DD barely cried at all - she SCREAMED the last time. The doctor said that she finds that if you push the serum in slowly, rather than all at once, the babies dont cry nearly as much. She said that it's not the needle that hurts them, it's the serum going in.
Who knows - but Ainsley cried for maybe 30 seconds this time, compared with 10 minutes last time.

I can attest to that. I had to give myself needles in the past and it is the serum much moreso than the needle.
