@ 4 months, DS weighs...
19.2 lbs...
this was at his 18 week visit... the dr said "well, at least he is on the charts" ummmm he is in the 97th %ile
should i be worried? dr says not too since they lose weight onve they start crawling/walking. even so, im still nervous...
ETA: he was 7.6 at birth

Hi!
Our DD weighed 10lbs 12 oz at her 1 month visit.... she is also at the 97%... Doctor told us their is no correlation with the percentiles and weight when they are older.... when they are two and three, he said thats when it would be of concern... It is more based upon what you and your DH weigh.... It just means they are thriving! :)

dont be worried.. my DS has been off the charts for height and weight since birth. He is healthy that is all that matters

My son was always 95% or off the charts since birth. He started evening out and being on the charts around 2.5. They do slow down a little!

Nothing to worry about! My friend's baby was only ever on the chart after he had a virus and lost a few pounds! He was 36 inches and 30 pounds at a year

Nothing to worry about - DS was 21lbs at his four month visit! More of him to mush!
