4 ounces of breast milk, one week after birth
It's been a week since my baby is born and for the first time I pumped 4 ounces of breast milk.
We are feeding our baby formula and breast milk. This will be the first time he's taking only breast milk for his 5:30 feeding.
Is 4 ounces great considering I pump my breast every 6 hours and it has only been 7 days since his birth?
Anyone else feeding their babies both formula and breast milk, what is your routine?

That's wonderful! I've never pumped that and I'm 5 weeks PP.

Wow, that is great so soon after delivering. I wasn't getting that much until 4-5 wks later. I EBF, although mainly pumped. In the beginning I was pumping every 3-4 hours (she was eating every 2 hours). You want to build up your supply in the beginning.
