4 year old boy - gift for bday
Anyone have any good ideas? DS is turning 4 and his list is really small - lol - puzzles and a water bottle! i know i shouldn't be complaining but I need some ideas. What are your 4 yr old boys into?

hot wheels tracks - wall tracks, racing sets
he is still obsessed with trains
LOVES board games
dominos (but the ones where you set things up and then watch them fall)

DS wants a llight saber, power ranger motorcycle, blue police helicopter, computer (a kiddie one), monster trucks, iron man, captain america, transformers, spider man, super man, toy story toys, cars/cars 2 toys, beauty and the beast movie, flash light, games for his mobigo.

DS is also loves trains. Geotrax are huge here too.
Top toys in our home for a 4 1/2 year old boy:
Legos
Geotrax trains
Board Games (Zingo, Candy Land, Castle Logic, Connect 4, Twister, Memory)
Leap pad (games we like Cars, Mr. Pencil, Pixar Pals)
art supplies
books (first readers, chapter books for me to read to him)
Sports equipment (football, baseball with glove/plates, basketball, hoop, soccer ball, yoga mat)
Winter toys (sled)
Summer toys (swing set)
Melissa and Doug Pirate Treasure Chest
Big Wheel or bike (alternatively a Plasma Car toy - we don't have that one but it is popular)
ETA: I think the Angry birds board game might be fun too. Other good ones for this age: Clue Jr., Monopoly Jr., Rush Hour Jr.)

Which board games?
Cootie is a good one. Find the Sock Monkey is fun. Hungry Hungry Hippos. Basically any pre-school game at TRU is likely to be appreciated.

Which board games?
my son loves super heros chutes and ladders, memory games, Tumblin Monkeys, Connect 4, Cars Raceway game, Don't wake Daddy, Operation, Don't Break the Ice, etc.

Wow - DS is 4 and his christmas list was a MILE long - literally! COunt your blessings 
This is some of what was on DS's list -
Leap pad
games for leap pad
books for tag reader
camera (his own digital that he could connect to the computer and print pics)
Everything movie cars related - cars sets etc.
We also got him
- Big personlized portfolio for his work from school from Lakeshore
- I can spell mat game from lakeshore
- These straws and connectors building things
- Big interactive map that works with his tag reader pen
There is so much more but, I cant' think of it right now!

I'm a fan of educational toys. At age 4, they are probably learning numbers, reading and writing.

DS got a Crayola camera for Christmas and really loves it!
Imaginext toys by Fisher Price are a good bet, too.
There are some nice boy themed Crayola art kits as well.
