40th b-day party food ideas

I'm thinking of throwing a party for DH. He is def not a "formal" type of person...he is more of a "bar" type of person. So I'm thinking of doing pizza, wings, a hot dog cart, and maybe a few other bar-type foods. For the pizza, I will have several pies...cheese, pepperoni, veggie, salad, buffalo chicken, eggplant rollatini, ziti, etc. plus hot wings and honey-BBQ wings.

What do you think? Any other ideas? I'm kind of tired of throwing the usual buffet-type parties.

I absolutely love this idea! I think bar food would be really cute.

Different pizzas work of course. You can also do different kinds of wings and/or flavors and hotness levels. Besides a hot dog cart, you can do sausage and peppers like they have at sports game. Or what about sliders (mini hamburgers)? You can also do a nacho bar!!! That is my favorite pub food usually. Maybe some dips like spinach and artichoke?

A nacho bar is a GREAT idea!! Don't really want to get into cooking sliders...trying to keep it as easy as possible for myself. But great ideas!

Keep 'em coming!

I'll probably put out the dips before the food (spinach/artichoke, cheesy spinach, plain onion...DH loves it).
