I'm Back with Jared!!!
Well...Jared Robert was born on June 13.
He was 8 pounds 5 ounces, 22 inches and born at 7:13 pm. I had a 10 hour labor and boy was it some experience...
I got to the hospital at around 9:30 and they hooked me up to the monitors, checked to see if my water was really broken (it was) and then sent me to wait to dialate.
The doctor gave me an epidural (which is the BEST thing in the world) and then checked me again. I only dialated to 4cm and the baby wasn't coming down. He then told me that he was doing a c-section. In my drugged up state, I replied "okay, lets go!"
Now I'm in the operating room and they're setting me up to have the c-section. Apparently I had something called a "hot spot" in my spine ( an area where I wasn't numb) because when they started to cut me, I felt it. After screaming "OUCH!!", they stopped and had to administer another epidural. Finally, I didn't feel anything, they let my DH in and began. All I remember was them saying, you're going to feel a little pressure on your lungs now Stefanie. My DH, looked and saw the two doctors jump up on the table and press down on me to get the baby out.
I finally heard Jared crying and the nurses yelling the time, weight, and length out to each other. They asked my DH if he wanted to cut the cord and he said ..."No, that's okay, you guys know what you're doing..." He really wanted to cut the cord from me, not just shorten the cord on the baby. Plus, he looked a little woosie .
I was in the hospital from Monday to Friday and I'm so glad to be home. The nurses at Winthrop Hospital were wonderful. Everyone was so helpful and kind.
Thank you for all the warm wishes and thoughts girls! I'm so happy to come home and share my story with you all. Now you all have to put up with my baby pictures instead of my belly pictures!!

Stefanie so happy to see you back , "Mommy" (we have allll been thinking about you!)
First of all, Jared is just GORGEOUS !! Truly such a beautiful little boy, he is precious and and perfect in every way possible.. 
CONGRATULATIONS and thank you for sharing your birth story, I look forward to 100s and 100s more pictures of little Jared in the coming months

Welcome back Stefanie, congrats. Jared is just simply gorgeous, I guess the wait was definitely worth it.
Now go rest and spend sometime with that amazing little boy.
