Swelling / water retention only on one side?

Swelling / water retention only on one side?
I can't be sure but it looks like my right foot and right hand seem swollen....why would it only be on one side?

I had similar, it was only my right foot/ankle. I went to the OB & they didn't seem too concerned. It has since gone away

For me, it's my left side that swells. My left foot/ankle is always HUGE  and I can no longer wear my engagement or wedding rings. 
I wake up in the morning and it's fine, but by 10 am, it's unsightly!

I wake up in the morning and it's fine, but by 10 am, it's unsightly!
I have the same swelling on the left side my Ob sent me for a doppler yesterday to make sure i dont have a blood Clot and Thank God EVERYTHING was normal just retaining alot of water .. Its Normal..

Just this week my left ring finger has been swollen but only at the knuckle! I am no longer able to wear my wedding band as it gets stuck on my knuckle

I have the same thing with my left side. I mentioned it to my doc yesterday and she said it may just be from the pressure of your uterus on that one side. She said if your left side swells more than the right, you may be better off laying on your right side with a pillow in between your legs - and vice versa if your swelling is on the right side.
