44 in a class!!
So, my district had massive excessing this year and not many of us have been brought back. At first, my friends and I laughed and said it would never happen, all those bodies in a room would be a fire hazard, etc. However, I think it actually might happen!! I used to complain when class size went to 28! This is crazy!

Yes!-44 in 6th grade--I think some 1st grades went up to 40!!

I can't even imagine! I hope parents make some noise over this and something gets done.
And to think my stepmother thought my brother's kindergarten class of 17 this year was big

Right now in my school all 3-6th grade classrooms have between 30-34 kids, grades 1&2 have between 25-28 and k is around 22-24. What makes me nervous is that we get a lot of students who enroll right before school starts....
