45 days left and still NO IDEA what to name this kid!!
We just keep going round and round.
Nothing sounds right, nothing feels right.
I'll like it, but DH will hate it or vice versa.
I'm going to have baby no-name!!

Us too....but we have a little time--not due till August...but we are stuck--and since we aren't finding out the sex, we have to come up with 2 names!!!!

Don't feel bad at all I am in the same boat. I was so sure that Iwas having a boy this time around I just had it in my gut that it was a boy then when I had the 20 week sono I found out we are having another girl and we can't agree on any names I told my hubby that if we can't come up with anything I am going to put on the birth certificate NO FRILLS as the childs name. We still do have some time I am due the end of July

Maybe once you see him you will know what his name should be. Thats what my mom said about me when I was born. I just "looked" like a Karyn.

I was thinking about this the other day....wondering what your baby's name was going to be!! I wouldn't worry about it, sometimes the name just comes to you .... like with a dog...not to compare the two but you get it...

DH and I had such a hard time naming Taylor.
We started with the baby name book and wrote down all the names we liked, as long as one of us didnt veto it (which happened alot!)
Then we took a break from the list and went back a month later and cut down some names.
Then we took another break and sat down one day and cut it from 32 names down to 1!
Her middle name was decided the week before she was born

Me and you both--I have 42 days left and no definite names--and we don't even know the sex! We have our picks of the week, but who knows, next week we could be back to square one! I do not want to wait until delivery day to make the decision!!!!

I was still hoping DH would change his mind afterwards. He was sticking by his dad's name.
My friends swear by leaving the name unpicked. Right after you deliver (and he's just seen you in labor), you ask him if he would give into your name.

My friends swear by leaving the name unpicked. Right after you deliver (and he's just seen you in labor), you ask him if he would give into your name.
My DH and I could not agree on Peyton's name. He wanted Devin and I really really wanted Peyton. After weeks of debate, he finally said you can name her Peyton. I was psyched because I love it.

this is kind of how we did it....dh thought it was a dumb way...but i knew in the end it was the fairest way.
with my sister, we all wrote down names we liked from the books. my mom collected them and then was going to let us vote on the names that appeared on all our lists. only one name was on all the lists.
