Us too, but I heard of robbies and breakins where they just forced themselves in while the couple was home- I think it happened last week and now with the higher cost of living- I wonder if we are going to hear about it more on the news.

OK I just went on Ebay and bought a locking gas cap for DH's truck and Im looking for one for mine. I think its a good idea.
ETA: just found one for me and bought it too!

DH has a 2nd job working security at a hotel in NJ. They already caught a teenager siphoning (sp) gas

I believe it!!!! Its really bad- I truly do think crime is going to increase b/c of these insane prices!! god I hope Im wrong

I searched for "locking gas cap" and then I added "Ford" to narrow it down. Search Google too for "Ford locking gas cap" or "Hyundai locking gas cap" - it will narrow down the search more.

I'm not too worried, but if I was still living in Whitestone and parking on the street I might worry, since I am pretty sure someone tried to siphon gas from my car once when the prices were not crazy.

We have one. Had it for a while. It's really great.
I can not open the darn thing with the key. It's a great security on the gas because if I can't even open it with the key I doubt anyone without a key could open it.
