TMI question related to nycchic24's

The question about bladder cramping made me think of something that has been bothering me a little...

When I am done peeing- at the very end- I feel crampy- not sure if it is my bladder or uterus. When I start to pee, it feels fine- but just as my bladder is almost empty I feel cramps there- it goes away after a minute.

Maybe its my uterus expanding after the bladder contracts because there is more room after I go? Sorry if TMI- just wondering if anyone else has this...I'm going to ask my doctor on Monday.

I don't know what it is, but it does happen to me too! Pls. let me know what the Doc. says, I've never asked.

Could be a UTI. However, and I don't want to scare you, I was feeling similar symptoms about 4 wks ago and it turns out they were contractions. Everything is fine now but make sure you mention it to your Drs ladies!

Make sure you get UTI's checked. They can affect the baby once you're in your 3rd trimester.

Sorry to jump in - just wanted to add that - I have no advice on the bladder cramping, I assumed it was because my uterus was able to get a little more room since I emptied my bladder...

I just called my Dr.- I am going in at 1:00 tomorrow to get it checked out.

I'm just worried because it doesn't feel like a UTI- whenever I had them in the past it burned as I started to pee...now I have no burning, just that sharp cramp once I'm done that goes away within a minute.

I hate this worried feeling- I should have insisted that I come in today!

Is when you are sitting down still or as you stand up?

I guess both- the cramp feeling (kind of sharp) lasts for a few seconds just when I am done emptying my bladder- but that's the only time. Just when I finish peeing.

If it when you ar standing up I would think maybe is is just the muscle's pulling. This happens to me when I sneeze or blow my nose and I asked my OB last night and she said it was normal

Thank you! I just really feel its not a UTI- hopefully the doctor will just say its my uterus expanding when my bladder empties!

I'm going to try and not worry about it the rest of the day.....

I was told that the baby was sitting on my bladder and once it was empty from peeing, that cramp was my uterus sitting on top of my bladder...

I'm confused though because at my ultrasounds it looks like my bladder is on top of the baby!
