The Wedding Singer on B'Way...
Anyone see it?
I keep seeing the commercial & the songs sound really lame.
I am a huge fan of the movie & the music & would like to hear some reviews before I consider going.

My friend works for ABC and he got me tix like 3/4 weeks ago.
It was good...It was my first BWY play and I enjoyed it..A bit corny, but arent they all

I thought it was awful. When will they stop spending millions of $$$ to develop crap. Right now on Broadway you have Tarzan (crap), The Wedding Singer(Crap) and Lesat(total CRAP).

It looks kinds silly to me. If you are looking for recommendations...
See Dirty Rotten Scoundrals, Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Drowzy Chaperone --- if you want great musicals.
We just saw Doubt which was also great --- but it is a drama and some people don't like dramas.

OMG, I was horrified when I heard the commercials for this show when I was home
I totally thought it was a joke at first!!! Out of all the movies in the world...why would they think the Wedding Singer would make a great musical???

I remember when I heard commericals for "Titanic" on Broadway and I thought it was a joke. Sadly, it wasn't and I was forced to go. I scowled through the whole awful show.
