Forever Young

Has anyone been there recently? Is it worth me taking a ride from Centereach to Rosyln Heights?

Re: Forever Young

Is it still open?
I was under the impression they were closing last week.
My MIL went last week and said there was hardly anthing left... and that was last Tuesday...

Re: Forever Young

I was there on Sunday, and still got some good deals but it depends on what you're looking for.

They had plenty of crib mattresses, some strollers and accesories, and lots of decor knick knacks. But they were pretty wiped clean of cribs and furniture. Good deals on bottles and feeding supplies (breast pumps, etc) but we weren't ready for that yet.

We bought a bedding set (that I LOVE and was originally $1100 Chat Icon ), a crib mattress, changing pad, and backpack hiking carrier.

Re: Forever Young

I was just going to look for anything. I spoke to someone on the phone yesterday and they said that the doors close Tuesday.

I don't have furniture or anything, so I thought if it was worth it I would take a look.

Re: Forever Young

I did take the trip from Centereach, and I'm glad I did. I went this past Saturday. I got good buys on furniture ( a complete bedroom set), an inexpensive stroller, an AngelCare monitor, a crib mattress, and Christening outfits. I think they still had plenty of stuff left. There were several bedroom sets left in addition to alot of single items like cribs, and accessories for the rooms like toy boxes and stuff. They also had some glider/rockers left, alot of decorating stuff, plenty of bedding sets, and lots of Christening outfits. There were also quite a few stroller left (expensive ones and less expensive ones).. I can't remember everything else, but I found it worth the trip.

That is less stuff we can get you for your shower Catherine....don't forget to take it off your registry.
