Traveling During Pregnancy
I was just wondering if anyone did any traveling during their pregnancy....i was thinking of going to the carribean in the early summer (due Sept 24). Just wanted to know thoughts about leaving the US??

I traveled, not far, but we went to the Bahamas when I was 26-27 weeks. I had no problems, my doc said I could go anywhere before 30 weeks. I was so happy I did, we had the best time!

I'm going to Florida in beg of April when I'll be 18 weeks. My dr. said the best time to travel is in your 2nd trimester. They only thing she cautioned me about is to get up at least once on the plane ride for circulation just becuase pg women are at inc. risk for blood clots and we shouldn't sit for long pds of time even though Florida isn't a long flight. I'm so looking forward to this trip!

I will be going to Florida in June, adn I will be about 20 weeks with twins.

I travelled throughout my entire pregnancy. I found out I was pg in Munich. DH and I were living in Europe at the time and we took full advantage of seeing as much as we could. I think were were away 60 or 70 days of my pregnancy. I flew up until I was 33 weeks.
