Now I have to do the 3 hour- I can't stand the needles

Well...as you know I failed mine too. But, did just get my results yesterday that I passed the 3 hour.
It's very important for you to fast now...you'll have to fast at least 8-10 hours before the test.
And, for 2-3 days before the test eat a lot of pasta, rice, breads.
I'm sure your doctor told you all of this already.
Bring LOTS of reading material with you...it was so boring to have to sit there for 3 hours, but, if you have something good to read, it shouldn't be that bad.

Yep, I can tell you this test is definitely miserable...but, there's nothing to be afraid of.
Keep us updated. You'll be fine - bring something to keep you busy, knitting, a book - something to distract you while your waiting.

Sorry...it definitely ***** but you'll be relieved when it's all over. Take something to eat and drink (like juice) with you. I made the mistake of not taking anything with me and by the time I got back to work, I started having horrible heart pulputations and feeling like I was going to faint!

You're not allowed...don't bring anything to eat or drink with you.

I failed my 1 hr test too. I took the 3 hr and passed. Take something to read or to keep yourself busy. GOOD LUCK!

Sorry, I meant to say bring something for AFTER the test is finished. During the test, you can't even have water.

Good luck with the 3 hour! I had GD and I know about the testing and it is long and boring. I would bring somethign for a snack after the test it you can. bring tons to read and if you can bring a friend or famil member to help pass time. For me it seemed like forever.
