I hate when DH has to work!
I was soooo spoiled before moving down to Florida. I used to get home from work and DH would be there already... when he worked NORMAL hours. Now his hours succcccck. I can't seem to get used to being alone on weekends and now I'm sad. He just left for work and I was on the floor grabbing his leg saying "don't go" in my baby voice  (yes, I do this all the time  ) I HATE BEING HOME ALONE!!!!!!!!!
I need to make friends

I get the same way too... AND we have such similar schedules. it stinks not having the weekends together

Diana where in FL are you??
I know how you feel. My hubby' days off are Thurs and Fri. Mine are Sat and Sun.
So weekends really suuuuccccckkkk for me. But honestly I love when he isnt home. I practically throw him out. I get my cleaning done, can lounge around on the lanai, do some girlie things like get my nails done, or go shopping.
I love my DH, and we make the best of the time we do have together but I adore my "me" weekends

my Dh works weekends too. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate. I love it when school is in session, I need the quiet time. Days like today I hate it.

I am sorry. I am working today too and DH just called to say he misses our Sunday routine of making coffee and reading the paper together.

We live in Winter Park. I wouldn't mind being home on weekends alone, but he works till 9 during the week too, and by the time he gets home alot of the times I'm almost in bed by then

Dh works till 9 as well. He has an hour drive. so by the time he gets home it's hey glad your home, time for bed b/c I have to be up at 6:30am.
A good thing is I work till 5:30, get home at 6:15 and the days he's off we have time together to do things. It may be food shopping or just cooking, but its time we have together.
I just wish he understood more why I am really stressing a big vacation for us in december.
