you need a vacation from the wedding! we took a cruise to bermuda one year before ours to take a break from planning to! do it. you wont be sorry. i think we paid $1400 and ours left from NY (Royal Carribean)

ok, i just got a price of $1553 total for 7 nights on Celebrity Zenith to Bermuda (out of NJ)
sounds like a sweeeet deal...but I'm trying to justify spending that $... 
Hmmmmm.....what about Vegas?
I took this cruise, and love it (actually took it out of the NY port when it was still active.) The Zenith is a smaller ship so it can get in the closer port in Bermuda, not all the way up at the naval yard.
We're actually taking the same cruise again, but we're going early October. Once my annoying boss approves my vacation time.

Lucky girl! have fun! If you go out of FL, jetblue is having a sale from $79 each way.You have to book 14 days in advance though...

ok, although the cruise would be fabulous, there's no way we can be so detached from the world that week....its a huge interview week.
We really have to travel between Aug 12 and Aug 18th....
I'm looking into Vegas instead now.
