IYO... what makes an OB/GYN excellent

I was having this conversation with another preggo friend and she brought up some points I never thought of.

hmm, I think its important that they take time to talk to you, answer your questions, address your concerns and are supportive of your birthing choices. You need to feel comfortable with them.

Bonus points, if they're quick on the internal exams and don't use the speculum (mine doesn't).

i wanted to ad that when you call for blood tets or test results they take the time to talk to you and explain things to you and my dr won me over when he cslled me on SUNDAY NEW YEARS DAY to tell me my blood results and when i said iw as shocked tohear form him on that dsay he sai " when i have good news i liek to share it" I am never leaving this place i swear

Hmm I guess I would say someone that takes there time with you addresses all you questions and concerns no matter how minor or silly they seem. Explains things in details gives you all the options regarding your care. Also when I first met my doctor I just had a feeling of authenticity from her that she actually did care.
