Baby found floating in bag in lake
SAO PAULO, Brazil (AP) -- A baby girl remained hospitalized in good condition Sunday after being thrown into a lake in Brazilian park wrapped inside a plastic bag, doctors said.
The baby, apparently 2 months old, was rescued Saturday afternoon by a couple who heard her crying in the Pampulha Lagoon in Belo Horizonte, a city about 500 kilometers (300 miles) northeast of Sao Paulo.
Amateur footage broadcast on Brazilian TV showed rescuers using a long tree branch to pull the black plastic bag out of the water. They opened the bag and found the girl -- wearing a pink dress -- soaked inside. (Watch shocked rescuers open bag and find a crying infant -- 1:50)
"I heard what sounded like a cat," Jose da Cruz told Globo TV. "Then the noise was increasing and it caught my attention."
A small wooden board inside the bag apparently kept it from submerging.
"She is in good condition," Dr. Claudia Guimaraes said. "It's a miracle she survived the heat and somehow didn't drown."
Authorities had no leads on why the baby was thrown in the lagoon.
The Pampulha Lagoon is in downtown Belo Horizonte, in one of the city's most famous parks, often crowded with weekend visitors.

How the H E L L....could any human being do that to a poor baby
I hope they catch this INHUMANE person

what i dont get though, was.... how were there cameras there when they happened to find her??????
eta: its also kinda weird that the baby was dressed?!?!

supposedly, it was an amateur photographer, not a cameraman from the news station....

seems kinda shady if you ask me..... but all in all i am of course very happy the baby is alive and well.....
but i dont know aboutt his one, seems alittle "off" if you ask me.

i think we should put the mob and gangs to good use in these regards, let them find the person responsible for cruel acts like this one and let the mob do whatever they want with them, they just go missing
