How many oil deliveries have you had this heating season?

I heard people talking on the train that they are usually up to their third or fourth delivery by now but they were all only up to their second or third.

How many have you had?

We use oil for heat only. Our tank is 275 gallons and we've had 2 deliveries. One in October and one in December.

I think we have had three, but they've been spread out and none of them have been overly large. We've been frugal.

We had 1 in the begining of Dec and we're scheduled for our second on Mon. We have a 275 tank.

ETA: We also use oil for hot water!

1 delivery since last february, 450 gallons.

We have Slomin's and they come once a month and top off. So far, not too bad...average is about $180/month.

we had one in early nov, one right before christmas(we had 6 house guests for 10 days & used alot that week) & I just got another delivery yesterday.
We use our oil for heat & hot water & have a 275 tank.

We received our first in Oct. and just got our second.

They filled up the tank when we closed in Mid november. I just got 180 gallons put in last month.

oops, i forgot... we did receive a delivery when we closed in may and signed the contract w/ the company. it wasn't a full delivery, maybe 1/4 or 1/2. compared to everyone, we have a HUGE tank. when they came in december they said we had about a 1/4 of a tank left.

We have a 1,000 gallon tank-previous homeowner installed it. The last time we had it filled was January 2005. It cost about 1200 to fill at that time because we got a bulk discount

i have had too many, every three wks. i just told my company to slow down

It honestly depends upon the ratio of square footage of your house to oil tank size... for example, I used to have a 1000 gallon tank and I would do one fill up in the summer for a colonial... different house but pretty much same square footage... about 2800 and we have a 330 gallon tank so more fill ups.
