So, i Quit Smoking last week
and really... i think i'm going to kill someone. I feel like Sybil on steroids, with an extra does of estrogen.
I'm really trying to stay strong.. but if these moods swings dont pass SOON... i dont think i'd even blame DH if he 'Goes out for milk,' and never comes back 
Please tell me this will get better/ easier

STAY strong Neenie!!
You can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just take every day that you are smoke free as another small victory.. and before you know it, you won't even remember how many days its been since your last cigarette

I quit a few years ago. It sucks and sometimes I even give in  which is so horrible but it is so much better to be SMOKE free!

awwwww my DH would appreciate the break. Send him over (and then you can have him bring you Cheesecake factory on his way home!) 
really- we're at the point where i ask DH something.... and he just puts on a sad face and says "please tell me what my answer should be so that i dont get in trouble".
and then i get mad at him for that---you know, for playing the role of the victim. (when he Is)

First off
Congrats on deciding to quit!!!!
Secondly
its not easy. anthony has tried within the last 5 years to stop 3 times unseccessfully. So please dont beat yourself up if you "fall off the wagon".I dont think he truly wants to quit yet
Take it one day at a time.If you REally want to do it, you can.

neenie it does get easier i promise like i said previously on a different thread I stopped smoking in 1989 i smoked 2 PACKS a day, Yes it was hard but i chewed gum, chewed on a ice cream stick i know yuk but it killed the craving also chocolate was my subsitute love instead of the cigarette. Just take one day at a time I am sure your Dh will understand buy him something nice or take him out to dinner that will make up for the moodiness. I am proud of ya girl!!

I heard that it takes a few weeks for the nicotine to get out of your blood stream, so hopefully it will get better.

I am so proud of you sweetie! What a huge accomplishement! It does get better... DH quit smoking almost 4 years ago cold turkey. His suggestions are to chew a lot of gum and try to stay away from people who smoke and situations which would make you smoke.
