Re: Is Serendipity anywhere near the Central Park Zoo?
first off, I LOVE the CP Zoo. Good choice.
The last time I went there, it was such a nice day so FH and I walked up to the museum of nat. history. They had a Gem exhibit at the time - it was incredible. Museum is 79th-81st & Central Park West, and they're only open til 5 or 6.
We've been to Serendipity too - FH had a pretty good burger, and I had a frozen hot chocolate. Serendipity is on E 60th - around 3rd ave, I think. FAO Schwarz isn't far either - we played around in there for a little bit.
There was so much to do and see in the park when we were there - street vendors, artists, etc. We were in the Park itself for HOURS!

at the south corner of the park is FAO schwartz, thats fun to look around in. Its a bit of a walk from the museum though. But i agree, you can always find tons of fun things in the park.
