Any advice for taking a road trip w/ baby?
We're driving up to Cape COd w/ Alex. I thikn we're going to leave after her last bottle, hoping she'll sleep on the way up. Driving home however, we'll be leaving in the morning. I guess we'll just make some stops to feed her & let her stretch a bit. Any other suggestions???? TIA!

We do the same, try and leave after her bed time.
Also bring lots of toys for the car.

Re: Any advice for taking a road trip w/ baby?
Our drive to NY in the Tahoe, we put the 3rd row seats up and folded down the 2nd row so we had sort of a play area in the car. It was half full of our stuff, but I had room to stretch my legs, change her, etc.
I sat in the back with her the whole time. She did not sleep long stretches....I think napping she did 2 hrs at the most and when we left in the middle of the night, I had to give her a bottle in the middle of the night. She'd wake up, look around, and fall back asleep--I guess because she was moving and in a sitting position instead of laying down?
When she was awake, I'd attempt to feed her if we were making bad time which was pretty messy but it worked. I had just about all her toys with us so we'd just play with them. I'd do peek a boo with a blanket or around the back of her car seat with her dolls.
