People living in the Levittown area...
What do you consider to be the best:
1) Pizza place -
2) Sushi place -
3) Chinese food -
eta: 2 years and i don't have a favorite pizza place or sushi but i love the chinese across from mcarthur hs -- i forget the name!!

Pizza - still don't have a favorite but Spasso's is pretty good -- Willowood Shopping Ctr. on Wantagh Ave..
Chinese -- in Cherrywood Shopping Ctr., next to Umberto's
Sushi -- on 107 next to Singleton's.........can't remember the name!! Oh yeah OZUMO...

I like Umbertos on Wantagh Avenue just south of the SSP. They are owned by the same people that run Umbertos in New Hyde Park.

Not the same owners actually, they just bought the name like a few other places have. Personally, I don't think they can hold a candle to the "original" in NHP....but that's just mho.

1) Pizza place - we like la focaccia or 2 bothers, i hear the pizza place next to waldbaums and lane bryant on hempstead tunrpike is good i've never been there b/c they dont deliver ha ha i forgot the name of the place
2) Sushi place - on gardiners ave next to the post office where salvation army used to be
3) Chinese food - Broccoli Garden

Oh... didn't know that. I still think its pretty good. But then again... when I go there I usually get "food".... not pizza.

For chinese I love Hunam on Hempstead Tpke in Levittown. It is a small restaurant that does take out too but doesn't deliver--its yummy though. For pizza....I'm not much help cause I go to Gino's in N. Bellmore cause it close to me(i'm in n.wantagh). And we don't eat sushi so no help there either.

1) Pizza place - Lombardi's on Division Ave. We tried so many places when we moved here and I hated them all, this and Mama Theresa's is all I will eat. Love Lombardi's crust.
2) Sushi place - Local would be Hoshi Sushi in Bethpage or Tai Show West in the PO shopping center on Gardiner's Ave. My favorite though and worth the drive is Sakura in Babylon Village (helps that my dad & sis live there)
3) Chinese food - Again we have tried a ton, but we like the place in the PO shopping center (by the old Salvation Army). The other place we like is on Hempstead Tpke in the shopping center with the Mexican resteraunt and Deli - across the street from Petco.

I completely agree! I used to live in Floral Park, by the original Umbertos- and the one in Seaford is just not the same.

King's Chef, I think it is, or King's Wok? (the one in the little shopping center by La Panchita- great if you like Mexican! Haven't lived in Levittown for years but I missed those places when I left.
For pizza, we always went to Dominicos. Sammy's Inferno was good too, but I think they're gone now.

We usually get pizza from Segesta (just cause it's the closest and we're too lazy to drive) My ILs usually get pizza from Domenicos, so we eat that when we're visiting. Chinese food we usually get from a little place near the garden apartments on Wantagh Ave (across from Macarthur) Kwong Ming off Wantagh Ave is also good, as well as Jani across from the cherrywood shopping center.
I'm not big into sushi, so I can't be any help.

1. Pizza--Portofino's IS yummy! but also NY Pizza (in Bethapge on Hemp. Turnpike) or Fra Amici's on Rt. 107 just South of Hemp. Turnpike.
2. Sushi-- I don't eat Sushi...
3. Chinese--Mei Wei on Wantagh Ave North of Hemp. Turnpike.
