Baby Shower Favor
My MIL and I are racking our brains to come up with a favor for my SIL's shower that isn't to "babyish" like baby candles, baby frames etc.
any unique ideas?

what about a packet of seeds for the flower of the month your baby will be born?
my shower had clear boxes with little pacifier candies that were kind of like sweet tarts. I liked 'em!

Get some scented soaps and put them in an organza bag with a tag saying "From XXXXXX's Shower to Yours. August XX, 2005"
This was the favor for my bridal shower and I think it will work for a baby shower also. I know everything was purchased off of Ebay.

For my sister's baby shower we did Teddyscents. They were beanie baby sized teddy bears that have scented beads in them. So they are air freshners. WE also looked at waxed dipped bears (same as above but were dipped in wax to give off fragrance). We also considered doing umbrellas "For your next shower"

You can have frames of different flowers.

At 1 of my showers we gave out Umbrellas with little tags on them that I made from taking Anne Geddes pictures and put a saying:
"Thank you for being part of the celebration as we anxiously await Baby XXXX"
They were a big hit!

We did the seed packets for my sisters shower and it was Perfect! They make them with a little poem and the name and date.

For my shower my mom did Winnie the Pooh mugs and Mickey Mugs with packs of coffee and chocolate dipped Biscotti inside tied in cellaphane with a tag that said "A baby is Brewing". They were a big hit! The mugs still went with the baby shower theme and everyone loves coffee and Italian cookies!

I went to the Dollar King on Portion Road in Ronkonkoma and they had the greatest umbrellas in Lilac, Cream and Light Green. They were great quality and I use mine still!! I just tied the note around the neck with Raffia....

I'm not sure how much you're looking to spend...the idea I'm about to give could be quite expensive. I wouldn't suggest this to my mom and sister for my shower...but, I think I'm going to order some to give out after the baby is born...you know how the guys like to give out cigars, well, I'm going to give out some of these...
Pookie.com has lipgloss...and they come in It's a Boy or It's a Girl.
I believe they are around $6 each.

My friend recently did unbrellas in blue ( they knew it was a boy) and she got them from here. also she wrapped then in cellophane nd had a ribbon on it.
