Breastfeeding Moms...have a question

Those of you who pump are there any other accessories I need besides the breast pump? BRU has free shipping on bf accessories so i would like to order what i will be needing.

Also do you recommend storing the milk in the bags or in the bottles they sell?

I use the steam clean bags for the microwave. You can throw all the accessories in the bag for steam cleaning.

I use the freezer bottles to store milk.

I used the medela storage bags b/c we found a good deal on them, but I have heard the gerber storage bags are easier to use. you may want some extra storage bottles too.

you may want to get an extra horn and definitely extra valves if you plan on pumping alot - but both are not pricey - you'd be better off buying when you need them

I hated the Medela bags..I only like the Gerber or other ziplock type bags.
The steam cleaning bags are GREAT, as is an extra set of breast shields. I was pumping full-time so having 2 full sets of everything was much easier for me.

get the steam cleaner and lots of storage bags, small freezer bags work great and are so much cheaper. Also, get few extra pumping bottles so you can fill up a few storage bottles if needed.
