Nope, no news yet. Still can't find her but at least I know there are people out there keeping their eyes open fo rher! I got a call from a man this morning who was driving on the LIE at exit 67 and saw a black and brown shepard running. He called to see if my dog was still missing but my baby is jet black so he said it wasnt her. BUT the thing is, he called while chasing her on the lie so he had to have my flier in his car with him. That makes me feel a lot better! Thank you all for asking! I don't know how I could have gotten through this week without you (especially Marcie! )!) I appreciate it sooo much, more than a bunch of words could ever describe!!!!

Wish I could do something to help -- I don't know anyone in that neighborhood, but I am in Wantagh. Did you call the Hempstead Animal Shelter?? I know it's far from you, but you never know..... I could even go check it out if you need.

 She still has NOT called me back. What is up with this lady! If its Mid and she's trying to keep her I'll kick her a$$ I want my damn dog and Im done playing around, even if she doesn't have the dog anymore, she should at least call and tell me that so I dont sit here thinking it is my dog and she is trying to keep her from me. Why wouldnt she call back? I just dont get it.

Have you tired calling her again if not try to keep on her it is a holiday weekend and if it is your dog you want her what happens if this woman is going away!

So I just got off the phone with the shelter and they have the dog, the woman brought her in. Her desciptions matches to a T even right down to the red collar. I asked the man to call her by her name and he did and he said she turned around and looked at him and was staring at him like its about time someone knew my name. He said the lady said she was on a mission to find her family and nothing was stopping her. He said they chased her for hours until they finally got her. This HAS to be my dog it just has to be. I just know it. What are the odds another dog that fits her descrip got lost on teh same night in the same area with the same collar and the same name. I know I shouldnt be getting my hopes up since I physically have not gone down to identify her yet, as I am stuck at work since I got a flat this morning. But I am getting out early today so I should no the latest by 4. I am praying this is her. Some have said (noone on here) that its just a dog and I will get over it but she is more than that! I will be forever greatfull to all who have prayed for me, kept their eyes open and passed on the word of her missing and seearched the internet for me. You will never know what it means to be. You are all such an amazing group of women and I domt know if I could have lasted this entire week without you all. Again thank you sooooo much and as soon as identify her I will let you all know for sure. I know I am getting my hopes up (and rambling) but it has got to be her!!!!

Nope wasnt my mid~monster. I got 10 more calls this weekend claiming to be my dog and all turned out to be not. I just was so sad this weekend I didnt even wanna think or talk about it so I got hammered instead! lol helped a little but still trying to find her and hoping that lady that doesnt call me back, will call me back. I think she has her, its too coincidental, same breed same color same area same day. I think she is trying to keep her now and that pisses me off to no end!

Is there any way that you can find out where she lives & maybe check it out?
It would drive me absolutely nuts if someone claimed to find my dog, only to stop returning the calls.

Do you have that lady's name? You cna look on inelius and peoaplesearch.com a lot of times that will give you an unlisted phone number.
