Recommendations for a good Primary Care Physician?
Hi everyone,
Craig and I are really tired of the PCP we've had for the past few years. We were originally referred to our current doctor by my sister and her husband, but lately we've been really upset with the way the doctors handle the patients - it feels more like a walk-in clinic where you never know who you're going to see since there are five different doctors in the office, then they herd everyone in and out, whatever doctor you end up with rushes the actual visit, they have no personal interest in us, and the last few times, really rude receptionists who are sloppy with our information! (One had us living in a completely different town and our Pharmacist noticed it while filling the prescription!)... We've had it with the sub-standard treatment, so can anyone recommend a good doctor (General Practice), preferably in Nassau county? I'm trying to line up good doctors so once we're ready to start our family, we have someone we can trust.  Thanks so much!!!

I go to Dr. John Boccio, he's at Bethpage Primary Care. I really like him and the other doctors in the office as well. Sorry, I don't have the # handy...

i highly reccommend Dr. Sandy Balwan she is in Great Neck and part of North Shore University Hospital I dont have her number handy but she is listed and her credentials are great and she is wonderful!!!

I go to Judith Marks in Merrick she is on Merrick Ave & North Jeruselum. Their practice is in a house--it is her & her husband and another dr. I really like her. They take almost every insurance--her number is 516-489-6433. I also like my gyno who is in bellmore I think she is great...let me know if you need a new one of those too. Good luck!

I used to go there as well. I never had an issue with their treatment, but the wait has been long.

If anyone is looking for Queens. I spoke to an MD for a pt today ( in Ridgewood) and he was really amazing. His name was Bigman!
