Any BF moms have bottle trouble?

All of a sudden DD won't drink out of a bottle. She cries until I nurse. At first I thought it was just me but FH tried feeding her last night when I wasn't home and she drank about 1/2 an oz and then wouldn't take it. Any suggestions?

I went through the same thing with DD. She took the bottle like a champ in the beginning like before she was 4 weeks old, then she started preferring the bottle to me, so we banished the bottle.

I tried to introduce it again right before she turned 2 months and it was a battle. She would do the same, fuss til I gave her the boob.

what i did was keep it at. I wouldn't force her to take the bottle but I tried it several times a day until she took it. And I consistently did it everyday at the same times/feedings. Eventually she took it me and now takes it from anyone. In the beginning she would only take it from me. I used to "trick" her, a trick I was told about. I made it seem like she was going to get the boob from pulling up my shirt, putting her in position, then i would stick the warm bottle in her mouth. Now She goes back and forth between bottle and boob without a problem.

I use advent bottles. At first i thought it was the bottle, but since she took them in the beginning i knew sooner or later she would take them. They have to learn a new way to s u c k since s u cking from a boob is wayyy different than s u cking from a bottle

Thanks, yeah she took it in the beginning too. Are you pumping or giving formula in the bottle?
