What am I missing for my sisters baby shower?
Long story short, my sister adopted a baby 2 weeks ago, she is a newborn and I am so happy for her, I am making her a shower to Welcome my niece. So far I have the place, sent out invitations, got the favors, made 50 chocolate lollipops today( ugh, I never want to see another chocolate lollipop again!) , made centerpieces ( baby bottles that are pink filled with pastel salt water taffy) and I am going to attach balloons to it, a centerpiece for the lollipops, ordered the wishing well, made a pin for the new Mom to wear, and am trying to decide on games, maybe Baby shower bingo and something else if someone can come up with something, I also got prizes today at AC Moore- small photo album, and note pads, etc. , got baby confetti for the tables, and thinking of making a diaper cake and maybe putting some pictures of the baby in frames on the table.... am I missing anything? I invited 35 women and so far 15 are definate yes, and 3 no's, anxiously awaiting the rest of the responses by the 18th. Maybe I am being too nuts about this, but after planning my wedding for 2 years and having it go so smoothly, I want to make this go just as smooth. Any ideas in addition to what I have? Thanks in advance.................

I think a corsage would be a really nice touch...and yes, order a cake!
someone on another thread about baby showers said they bought a book shelf and everyone brought thier favorite children's book....

Sounds like you have everything and more!!!
The only thing I could think of for an 'extra' item would be the clothes line with the baby clothes hanging for decoration/gifts?

The response for the RSVP's is the 18th. So fustrating I want some more people to call. So far we are now up to 15 people coming, I still have to wait for another 16 . I am going to order the cake when I get all the RSVP's, which seems like it is taking forever and a day! I just call right away when I get an invitation... I guess I am just anxious.  I am going to look into the corsage from BBB.

I dont blame you.. I wanted everything to be perfect for my sisters shower. It turned out to be a great day. Sounds like you have everything under control!!!
