I think thats the point...people are paying loads of money for these "designer" dogs when they can get the same ones at the shelter.

I got one wrong. The dogs that have their tags on are usually breeders.

i know! its ridiculous.
eta: its funny how the puggle from the shelter is sooooooooo much cuter. i find this happens 99% of the time.

It is interesting, I was talking to a vet and he said that when you mix 2 breeds, you have to be very careful because you can get the worst of both breeds as characteristics and as health problems. Scary thought!
ETA: I am not saying that if you have a "mutt" it is a bad thing. I just think paying crazy amount of $$$ for these "designer" breeds is the problem.

I got them all right.
We have a yorkiepoo but didn''t even know it when we bought him. We paid a lot due to the fact that my parent bought him from a pet shop.
He looks nothing like the yorkiepoos in that link though
