I need pics and/or suggestions for a small master bedroom, please...

My master bedroom is 9 x 9 (yes it is small) and I am starting to redo it in the next couple of weeks, so I know I want to do it blue and white (very beachy) and I know I want white furniture, so one of my ideas is to put the bed against the wall and make it like a big daybed type of thing or by a captains bed with storage underneath to eliminate a dresser or if you have any other ideas and/or pics I would really appreciate it.

How are you going to do the blue and white on the walls? Like a chair rail with half the room white and half blue?

I personally don't love captains beds. I would go for a bed that sits very high and put the roll out bins under it with clothes in it.
Also what about getting a corner armoire for the rest of your clothes or bedroom tv.
I would also hang a very large mirror somewhere in the room to give the allusion of more space.

Keep any window treatments very light - anything with a pattern or dark in color will also close in the room. They sell straw roll blinds ( not sure what the real name is but pottery barn and target carry them) that will help with your beack theme!

I was actually going to do a white ceiling, and sponge the white walls with light blue, then use a darker (not dark) rug.

Our bedroom is 9'9" x 11'4". I have a large dresser pressed up against one wall, so it's in the corner. We have a queen bed in the center of the room, but only one nightstand. We didn't put the footboard on the bottom of the bed, only the headboard to save space. I have a light color on the walls, Philadelphia cream by Benjamin Moore and a light Berber carpet. We have a very small closet that I put sliding glass doors on, which makes the room look a little bigger and also saves me having to have an extra full-lengh mirror in the room. We have cream and blue toille bedding and window valance which is bright too. Light colors definitely help make the room look more spacious. The room was originally painted pepto-bismol pink and bright yellow. This is the only picture I have at work to give you an idea. It's a black and white from our wedding.
