Had my 3D sono today!!! - edited
It was so cool. I'm so glad we went. For anybody else going to Envision in NJ, if you're not familiar with the NJ roads, give yourself a bit of extra time. We missed one of the exits and had to go out of our way to get back. But, TOTALLY WORTH THE TRIP!!!
In the third pic, the baby is sucking its thumb, and the fingers are covering the face -- so cute!! In the last one, the foot is in the eye. I sure hope the baby straightens its legs while it is trying to get out of there.
The baby is still head down. Has been since we had our 27 week sono. Still is now at 32 weeks. Image Attachment(s):

They are amazing! So cool you got to see your baby's face. I had a 3-D sono yesterday at my doc's office and my stubborn girl kept hiding her face!

We paid $200. That included a 25 min ultrasound, a VHS of the session (supposed to be set to music but we haven't watched it yet), a bunch of black and white 3D sono pics, 5 4x6 color 3D sono pics and a CD ROM of all the images from the session -- 28.
I was a bit disappointed because the package I chose (The Platinum) was supposed to include 4 5x7 images set in a display folder. When I made the appt the receptionist said to plan on spending an hour there because the last 1/2 hour would be spent with the technician choosing which pics I wanted enlarged to 5x7. When I was there, and I asked about this, they said that they changed the package and give 4x6 prints now. I felt like they bamboozled me a bit after spending 2 hours on the road to get there. They said that they give the CD ROM so we can just go to a photo place and get any pics enlarged that we want. Well, that wasn't replacing what you removed from the package because that was always included. This is the only thing that annoyed me about the whole experience.

No insurance does not yet cover 3D/4D ultrasounds unless deemed medically necessary with a specialist..........

Not true-- I get 3D/4D and insurance covers it.
ETA: my regular sono place offers it and when I get my regular sono, I get the 3D/4D- no extra cost.
But if your regualar dr office or sono office does not offer 3D/4D then you'd have to go out on your own and pay for it.
