Do YOU have any superstitions/weird OCD-like qualities?

My bra, undies, and socks ALWAYS match. I feel stupid if they don't.

ugghh dont even get me started. I had OCD pretty badly when I was younger. Thankfully it was controlled and now I rarely have any real life interupting moments....But I check the stove a few times before bed...and if DH even asks me if I did, I have to check like 4 more times. It only takes a few seconds thankfully.

I remember at the "height" of it, it was Christmas time and I was making christmas lists and they never looked "right " to me, and I recall making in upwards of 200 lists one day...no joke. just kept writing them over and over again.

Then I had a strange obsession with putting clear nail polish on, and then I would pick it off and put it back on. I think I bought about 10-15 bottles of it in a few days.

My obsessions were always kinda strange as they often are and ut started when I had I was 19 and my college plans were delayed majorly...

Somehow I grew out of all of this though...And it was bad and I never had medication or anything for it.

I think I devloped my anxiety issues instead...

I feel horrible when I see people who suffer from it, because my memories of it were harsh and I feel for them so much.

I have a thing about the number 6.

I was told once that the devils number or the number 6 is in everything. Mostly Barcodes, if you do the math right, but also in other things. Since then I've been obsessed with counting out the number 6.

For example: I have 3 tables in my classroom, 6 chairs at each table. That equals the devils number.

Or on the computer keyboard, in the number pad on the side there are three lines of 3, all numbers, all the same size. In the other lines the keys are longer. These numbers stand out. On my cellphone it's the same thing. It's the devils number.

Or there are 6 small doors and 1 large door on my jewerly box. Or there are 6 ways to get into my car, the 4 doors, the trunk and the hood.

I do this with everything, people, buttons, controls, colors, pictures, handles the list could go on forever.

I can't keep 6 chairs at my table, I won't eat things in 3's, 6's, 9's or any number ending in 6. Just writing the number 6 so many times right now is freaking me out.

I've even gone so far as to think my marriage is doomed because I'm getting married in the year 2006.

It does get to be a bit much sometimes, but it's never been a problem. My friends and family just think I'm paranoid. Maybe I am, but really can find the number 6 in just about anything.
