Do You Waste Your Time(Relationship Wise)
What would you do if you have a bad argument with someone, and they don't want to fix things, but would rather continue being fake, and not confront the real issues? Then when you still try to resolve the tension, they choose to ignore you when they see you alone, but are "civil" and give you fake hello kisses (without making eye contact), when other friends are around?

I am sorry ur going threw this phony pple r the worst! especially when ur trying to at least work things out and be civil, the most you can do is work it out on ur end--if they wont recipricate then i would ignore them..u can only do so much to make a situation better--it def. takes 2 pple

When they tried to be civil to me in a group, I would probably make a comment about being so utterly rude to me when their other friends aren't around

It really depends ont he relationship. I have a frined that is VERY childish. She gets into these moods that really only her good friends can deal with (and even that is pretty quesitonable). There are times that I have questioned our friendship but the she will go and go something that makes it all worth while.  Is it frustrating, completely. But still... I know what I am dealing with and take it all witha grain of salt. When she gets into her moods, I know to stay away!

I would probably fake it as well to be civil in groups and forget this person after these social gatherings. Thats rude and childish of this person but if you are in a group setting, I would try to remain civil even if it means biting your tongue.

Sonia! Do we have the same friends!?????  I hate when people are phony. I think Michi said it best, as long as you've worked things out on your end, you can't change anyone/thing else. So don't waste your time.

I take them off my good friend list & bump their status down to an acquintance I have to be civil to but not friendly with for the sake of harmony among my real friends. I don't take it personally - I'm just not great friends with them.

same here, my new years resolution was to get rid of those people who cause me too much stress, and it really feels great not having that negative energy pulling me down! Kicked to the curb!!!
