I don't, but I used to work for Sylvan and I think the salaries were abour $15-20 per hour. Maybe they are in the same range?

Yep. But, some might have been slightly higher, if they had been there a while. People didn't really discuss salaries because I think everyone's was different. I started at $15 and got raises, but I know I was also in higher demand because I could tutor up to HS level math.

I think they pay in the 6-8 dollar an hour range. At least, that's what they did when my sister worked there a few years ago. I can't imagine it being much more.
ETA: I know when I moved back to NY and was looking for a teaching job a couple of years ago, I had accepted a lead teacher job at Kiddie Academy because I was afraid of not getting a job in a school, and all they could offer me was 8 and change an hour. I never took the job, though because I ended up with a job in a school.

I think they're up to $8 or $9 an hour for lead teachers, and I have a masters.

If you want to tutor the best way to do it is private. I used to work with some teachers who were getting 50-75 an hour!

Yeah... it is about 8 an hour. Plus, I think you and the assistant have to clean the classroom.
Assistants get about 6 an hour.

In the daycare center I work for- the teachers there make between 9-10/hr (give or take)
ETA- No nearly enough for all the work they do, and all the $$$ parents pay to bring their child there...

Thanks everyone... that kind of money isnt gonna cut it.... I went today and they were only paying $12.50 an hour.... that wont cut it for me.
