Where is a good place to have a party?
I really want to throw DH a surprise 30th birthday party. I have no idea where to look. We just got married on Jan. so I don't want to go overboard. Anyone know of a Knights of Columbus type place that is nice and not too expensive?

Nassau/Suffolk?
Do you want to have a sit down dinner or a bar/lounge type atmosphere?

I'm looking for DH too. I'm going to be making some phone calls to places in Queens.

How many people are you planning on having? Nassau/Suffolk?

Re: Where is a good place to have a party?
We're probably looking at 50-65 people. Either Nassau or Queens would be fine.
