Fetal Electrocariogram?

my doc called and said that when I went for my level II and a follow up level II a week later they still weren't able to see all four chamers of the babys heart, so now I have to go to get a fetal electrocardiogram, anyone else have one? What do they do to you?

Its like a Level II sonogram except they zoom in on the babys heart....After they told me everything was ok I had them check the sex again hehe. Good Luck to you, I'm sure it will be fine.

im going for one tomorrow since im over my due date. they want to make sure the baby is ok.

I had a fetal echocardiogram done at 24 weeks b/c of a distant family hx of heart defect. It's like a regular sono, but focused on the heart. I went to a phenomenal dr.- dr.rose in west islip across from good sam, she explained everything

I have a congenital heart defect myself, and I am getting one done next month. I only have a 5% chance of passing this onto my , but I want to be sure she does not have what I do. From what my Dr. told me it is like a Level II sono, just for the heart. I have a fabulous doctor specializes in congenital heart defects out of Columbia Presbyterian. He recommended a doctor out of LIJ who specializes in heart problems when the baby is in utero, he will be doing my fetal echo. FM me if you want his info. Hang in there and keep us updated.

Thanks, I was just curious what they do, doesn't sound bad! I'm not worried about the baby having something wrong, I just wish he would have cooperated at the level II so they could have seen everything!
