Am I the only one that stops at stop signs and does the speed limit through school zones?

NOW I definetly have a led foot. I once got a ticket in Florida for doing 92 in a 70 (as if 70 wasn't fast enough) BUT

I always ALWAYS do the speed limit in a school zone. My best friend lives in Vegas and EVERYONE does the speed limit. Even the teenagers and its the same where my brother lives in Florida. And the limit there is like 10-15 mph in school zones.

I just went home to let puppy out and I was doing 20 in the school zone (I only get a 30 minute lunch so I was in a rush too) and this guy was so far in my trunk its not even funny! He then went onto bang his hands on the steering wheel!

THEN on my way back to work this guy goes flying around me crosses double yellow lines on the other side of the road.

DH follows the rules too! Especially around schools!

I am definitely one to drive 75 in a 65 on a hwy but when its around the schools I would never. Stop signs, I do stop at. I am afraid I would get smashed by someone who didnt stop.

It is like that on my block everyday!!
I have 2 elementary schools on my block and alot of people think that is a raceway! I have people honk at me for slowing down to turn into my driveway - meanwhile, just past my driveway is a stop sign, you would think they would slow down for it - oh no!

I always do the speed limit thru school zones. I cannot STAND to see drivers doing 50+ mph around a school zone!!! HELLLLOOOOO - the sign says 20MPH jacka**!!!!!!

Though, I do have something to say about my block. I am on a dead end and I am not sure why the parents think it is safe for 2 years old to play in the street. To me its scary. I know about these kids but do other drivers? Probably not! This morning at their bus stop a father parked his car on the right side of the street and the kids aere playing on the left side. there was absolutely no room for people to drive past except to drive on the side where the children are. Aside from drivers being careful I think its also important for people to be smart. Even when I am walking across a street, I dont try to play "I have the right of way" because I realize drivers dont always think as I do.

That drives me nuts! I live on a street that has an all way stop sign at the end. People fly through it! I have almost been hit a couple of times. What really bothers me is that there's a driveway right by one of the signs and there are little kids playing in that driveway. Suppose one of the little kids goes chasing after a ball....stopping for that stop sign could be the difference between life and death.

Another thing that really bothers me, people running red lights! I have seen so many accidents because someone runs a red light and the person on the green side goes and doesn't notice someone barreling down on them.

I always drive slow through the school zones. I can't tell you how many children I see running around my neighborhood, especially during school hours. You just have to be careful. I trully hate seeing the speedsters........... jacka$$, there are kids walking around! duh

My personal favorites are the people who go around the school buses when they are stopped with the lights flashing

lately, I have noticed that less and less people actually follow the rules (they dont stop at stop signs, run the red lights, speed etc) what is going on I ask you?

Nope, I am always very careful in school zones. I just would hate to have to answer to an officer who pulled me over!

My mom, who was the original speed demon used to crack me up the way she'd slam on the brakes in a school zone. From 50 to 20 in three seconds!

I have absolutely never seen that. Thats totally sick. Has anyone really seen this? You have to be a m@ron to do something that stupid. That kind of offense if you hurt someone deserves the longest jail sentence possible.
