I am sure I'll get flamed for this, but when someone writes something that is full of typos, I can't read it. The occasional ones don't bug me, and I know I am guilty of that, but when you know the person is reasonably educated and intelligent, is it a big deal to proofread?

I agree with you. I have a friend who does this. She sends us emails and you get about 2 lines into it and your head hurts from trying to figure out what it says.

Sometimes people leave out entire words and the sentence doesn't make sense. Also, I don't know why, but it has always bothered me when people spell definitely wrong. What really gets me though (and maybe I'm being a grammar/English snob) is when people don't know the difference between there, they're and their, your and you're, etc. It drives me nuts.

Ditto, ditto, ditto!!! Typos, run-on sentences, constant misspells, etc!!
Again, I don't mean the once in a while mistake...
I hate trying to read something that I feel I have to decipher!

Mine would be forwarded email that people don't fact check. Missing children email, AOL/Bill Gates tracking emails, etc.

When people forward a "You are a great friend" email to you, but then you realize that they sent it to their entire address book.
Makes me feel real special when they send the "You are my best friend because..." forward to Uncle Mike and Hairdresser Tina too. 
ETA: I guess that's really an email pet peeve.
If you are looking for an internet pet peeve, I would go with pop up ads. Especially those new ones that move across the screen and you can't always find the "close" button to shut it down.

I can't STAND when the page is too "wide" - when you have to scroll from left to right.
Hate that!
And I aslo rebememr radenig taht the hmaun biran can pcorses wrdos eevn if teyh're not in the croecrt oderr.

I hate getting emails that have been forwarded to about 10,000 people and it takes 1/2 hour to get to the 2 lines you actually need to read

I have a bunch:
- typing in all caps
- when people forward emails and don't have the courtesy to attach the original email and so you have to open like 3000 envelopes just to get to the message
- Forwards that require you to send it back to the sender if you are "really" a friend

Yeah, the brain can decipher them pretty quickly and easily as long as the first and last letter are in the right place. But it took me forever to figure out that "pcorses" was "Process"!!

#1 - pop ups
#2 when I print out a webpage and the text on the right side gets cut off. Then I have to figure out how to reformat the doc to get it to print all the text. Grrr.
I dont' let those "forward if you are a friend" emails get to me anymore, I just delete them. I tried asking people not to send them, but some people got insulted, and then ended up sending them again after a while anyway.
