How long can an LH surge last?

I got a full blown dark purple line yesterday and I just took another one to see if I still get that dark line and it is much lighter today.

Is that normal?

It's very normal with the answer 20 pack, they give tons of false positives. It's why I don't recommend them. They will show the darkest line when LH hasn't even surged.....they never matched my blood work.

However, since you are not timing an IUI,...just make sure you continue to bd, until you have confirmed ovulation with charting.

You really should only have one day with a very dark second line. All mine typically go to almost nothing the next day.

I like the answer 20 pack..they worked well for me. The FRER ones are very sensitive for me, and I would get 4-5 days of +'s till my RE said not to use those....


eta- but EVERYONE is different...if you clearly got one day of a + ...thats a great test for you and you should use that brand or stick with it..
