How can I donate goods to a thrift store?
The local Salvation Army Thrift Store in your area will be able to provide you with information regarding the procedure for dropping off donated items. To find a Thrift Store in your area please click here.

How do I make a donation in memory of someone?
ONLINE DONATION:
1. Click here to go to the online donation page:

2. Under Gift Type, select “make a gift in memory of someone”. You will then have the opportunity to enter the name of the person whom you would like to make this gift in memory of.
DONATION BY MAIL:
1. Please make your check out to The Salvation Army.
2. Include a short note requesting an acknowledgement be sent to the person that you are donating in honor of. Please be sure to include their name and address. You may also specify to receive the acknowledgement yourself, so that you will be able to deliver it to the person you are honoring.
3. In the MEMO area of the check, in the bottom left corner, please write the name of the service that you wish the donation to be used towards. If you do not have a preference, please leave this space blank and we will use your donation where it is needed most.
4. You may send the donation to your local Salvation Army or The Salvation Army location nearest to the person you are honoring through your donation. You will find our locations by clicking here. An acknowledgement of your gift will be sent to you through the mail.

If u have any other children in school, the social workers in school districts love getting clothes for the children and families in their district. I interned in william floyd and we accepted this from our families.
