My mom died 18 months ago so we spend the AM with my dad and go to the cemetery. Then we go to my ILs for lunch/dinner.

DH's mom passed away 10 years ago, and his stepmom and dad are in Florida, so its with my mom.

My mom is in NY and we are in Cali. His mom is in NC. So we usually spend it with my brother and SIL- she lost her mom in college so we try to make it a nice day for her.

this year, neither.
dh's mom passed away in 2001, and this year my mom will be spending mother's day down in florida with my sister.

Both - we host mother's day brunch every year and invite both sides of the families, including our siblings, and DH's grandma. This year we are also inviting my dad and step-mom.

My dh's mom passed away years ago, so we spend the day with my mothr. We try to go to the cemetary the week before but sometimes its hard since she is buried in PA.

Both, we usually go to my in-laws first cause they have a BBQ every year, then we go out with my parents to dinner. My 1st mothers day too!!

Neither. Both are in other states so we usually spend the day together and then get together with my sister.

My sister has a crazy work schedule so we usually get together with my Mom the day before or after Mother's Day because she usually has to work. Then the actual day we spend with DH's Mom. Not thrilled about it but it's what works for us (right now). I'm sure when I become a Mom it will be different
